Packing is the last point where a mis-graded kernel or a shelf-life problem can still be caught — or created. Inspection, fill accuracy and the right atmosphere inside the container all matter to what arrives at the customer's door.

What's inside a LOCUS packing line?

Four machines cover inspection through to sealed, shelf-stable packaging — configured for either domestic wholesale or export shipment.

Inspection conveyor

Variable speed, food-grade belt with auto-magnetic vibrator feeder controls flow for accurate manual inspection.

Bell jar vacuum assembly

Pneumatic actuator lifts the bell jar; a vacuum pump and pressure gauge pull vacuum before gas flushing.

Tin filling machine

Fills tins to a consistent weight ahead of sealing, for both vita tin and export packing formats.

Export vacuum packing

A dedicated vacuum packing line handles higher-throughput export orders separately from the vita tin line.

CO2 / N2 flushing

Carbon dioxide or nitrogen flush after vacuum extends shelf life without affecting kernel flavour or texture.

SS304 throughout

All surfaces that touch kernels — conveyor dividers, filling equipment — are food-grade SS304.
