By accessing the website www.locus.co.in or www.locusexim.com, requesting a quotation, or placing an order with Locus Technologies ("LOCUS", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
LOCUS Technologies is a manufacturer and supplier of cashew processing machinery, vacuum frying equipment, and related food-processing plant solutions, operating from Pune, Maharashtra (GSTIN: 27AAJFL9220A1ZK) and Belagavi, Karnataka (GSTIN: 29AAIFL8178L1ZF), India. Our export division operates as Locus Exim.
All quotations issued by LOCUS are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Prices are subject to change without notice prior to written order confirmation. An order is considered accepted only upon LOCUS issuing a written order acknowledgement. LOCUS reserves the right to decline any order at its discretion.
Payment terms are as specified in the purchase order or quotation. Standard domestic terms require an advance payment upon order confirmation, with the balance due prior to dispatch. For export orders, payment terms are governed by the agreed Letter of Credit or wire transfer schedule. LOCUS reserves the right to suspend manufacture or delivery if payment obligations are not met.
Delivery timelines communicated in quotations are estimates based on standard production schedules. LOCUS will endeavour to meet agreed timelines but accepts no liability for delays caused by factors outside its reasonable control, including material shortages, transport disruptions, or client-side site readiness issues. Risk in goods passes to the buyer upon dispatch from our facility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All LOCUS machinery carries a 12-month warranty from the date of commissioning, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions. The warranty does not cover consumable wear parts, damage resulting from improper operation, unauthorised modifications, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to vinay@locus.org.in within the warranty period.
LOCUS's total liability to any client under or in connection with any contract shall not exceed the total value of the contract. LOCUS shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss including loss of production, loss of profit, or loss of data arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods or services.
All content on this website, including text, images, technical drawings, and specifications, is the property of LOCUS Technologies and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without the prior written consent of LOCUS.
Information shared by clients for the purpose of obtaining a quotation or placing an order — including plant layouts, capacity requirements, product details, and pricing — will be treated as confidential by LOCUS and will not be disclosed to third parties without the client's prior consent. LOCUS is willing to execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) upon client request.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
LOCUS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be published on this website. Continued use of our website or services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
