LOCUS plants are available in capacities from 5 MT to 50 MT of raw cashew nut (RCN) per shift. Standard configurations include 5 MT, 10 MT, 15 MT, 25 MT, and 50 MT per shift. Custom capacities can be engineered on request based on your raw material availability and output targets.

All product-contact parts in LOCUS machines are fabricated from SS304 food-grade stainless steel to meet HACCP and BRCGS hygiene requirements. Structural frames use heavy-duty mild steel with appropriate surface treatment. Vacuum frying vessels are engineered for safe vacuum operation at approximately 100°C and 50–70 mbar absolute pressure.

Vacuum frying cooks food at approximately 100°C under reduced pressure, compared to 170–180°C in conventional frying. This lower temperature preserves natural colour, flavour, and nutrients while reducing oil absorption by up to 50%. LOCUS LTVFM series fryers are used for cashew kernels, banana chips, jackfruit chips, okra, and other fruits and vegetables — resulting in a premium, health-oriented snack product.

Yes. LOCUS plants are PLC-controlled with automated cooking cycles, temperature monitoring, and process interlocks. Our cooking and curing systems achieve 95%+ uniform kernel cooking through precise steam pressure and time control. PLC automation reduces operator dependency, improves consistency, and generates process data for food safety audits.

Yes. Operator training is included as part of every LOCUS turnkey plant commissioning. Our engineers conduct hands-on training covering machine start-up, PLC operation, routine maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Training documentation is provided in English and regional languages on request.

Yes. LOCUS provides post-commissioning technical support including remote diagnostics, spare parts supply, and scheduled preventive maintenance visits. Our service team is reachable by phone and email. Annual maintenance contracts (AMC) are available for clients who require guaranteed response times and planned service schedules.

In the event of a machine fault, first refer to the PLC fault log and the troubleshooting section of the operator manual supplied with your plant. Our engineers will guide you through diagnosis remotely and, if required, dispatch a field service technician.

Yes. LOCUS maintains an inventory of critical spare parts including shelling blades, conveyor belts, vacuum pump seals, heat exchanger gaskets, and PLC modules. Spare parts are dispatched within 2–3 working days for domestic orders. Clients are recommended to maintain a minimum commissioning spares kit on-site as specified in the plant documentation.

LOCUS supplies cashew processing plants starting from 5 MT RCN per shift, making our solutions accessible to small and mid-scale processors. Vacuum frying units are available from bench-scale pilot systems up to full commercial production lines. There is no upper capacity limit — our largest installations operate at 50 MT per shift.

Typical lead time from order confirmation to factory dispatch is 10–16 weeks depending on plant size and scope. Site installation and commissioning adds a further 2–6 weeks. Timelines are confirmed in the project schedule at the time of order. Clients are required to have civil works and utility connections ready before our installation team mobilises.

Yes. LOCUS Technologies issues GST-compliant tax invoices for all domestic supply and installation contracts. Our Maharashtra GSTIN is 27AAJFL9220A1ZK and our Karnataka GSTIN is 29AAIFL8178L1ZF. For export orders, documentation is prepared in accordance with Indian export regulations and your country's import requirements.

Yes. LOCUS offers complete turnkey contracts that cover engineering design, equipment manufacture, civil work supervision, mechanical installation, electrical wiring, PLC programming, utility connections, trial runs, and operator training — all under a single agreement. Clients may also choose supply-only or supply-plus-installation scopes based on their in-house capabilities.

All LOCUS machinery is supplied with a standard 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects from the date of commissioning. Warranty excludes consumable wear parts, damage caused by improper operation, and non-LOCUS modifications. Extended warranty and annual maintenance contracts are available on request.

Yes. LOCUS offers plant audit and retrofit services for existing cashew processing facilities. Our engineers assess your current line, identify bottlenecks, and propose targeted upgrades — such as adding PLC automation, increasing cooking throughput, or integrating a vacuum frying section — without requiring a full plant replacement.
